🔬 What is the CANSTAR LDAC System?
Unlike conventional HVAC systems that handle temperature and humidity simultaneously using energy-intensive cooling coils, the CANSTAR LDAC system separates dehumidification from cooling. At the core of this innovation is a liquid desiccant solution — such as lithium chloride (LiCl) or triethylene glycol (TEG) — that directly absorbs moisture from incoming air.
How it Works:

Dehumidification Phase: Moist air passes through the liquid desiccant in the contactor module, where moisture is absorbed.

Regeneration Phase: The saturated desiccant is heated (using low-grade or waste heat) to release the moisture and restore its absorption capacity.

Cooling Phase: Dehumidified air is then cooled to the desired temperature with reduced compressor load.
